Mr. Carl A. Brown has been an ordained minister since 1989. Elder Brown is Co-Founder of Louisiana United International, Inc. (LUI) which he assists his wife, Belinda Parker-Brown, and other organization officials in administering. Belinda Parker-Brown is LUI’s CEO and fellow Co-Founder. While Elder Brown does not serve the organization in an official cabinet role, he is an integral part of both its day-to-day operation as well as longer and long term planning.
Upon graduating from high school in Benton Harbor, Michigan, Brown joined the United States Marine Corp. and served his country accordingly for three (3) years. The Marine Corp. supplied Brown training in the area of Diesel Machines. During service, Brown also toured Japan as a member of the “All East Touring Boxing Team”.
After completing his Marine Corp. service, Brown secured two (2) separate Associate Degrees over the course of 1979 to 1984. He earned an Associates Degree in Auto Mechanics from Mott Community College in Flint, Michigan. Elder Brown also received an Associates Degree in Business Management from Baker Junior College in Flint, Michigan. He is an invaluable consultant for NJCDLP as well as LUI.
